GA Setlist: Vol 5

Having worked throughout most of the summer, I've finally found myself with some time off. My picks for the week have gravitated towards soft pop and upbeat tracks. Here's my GA Setlist for the week:
Dead to Me - Kali Uchis
Kali Uchis is an artist I've always heard great things about - so when I had the chance to see her at the Sydney leg of FOMO Festival, I made sure I showed up early for her set. She opened with Dead to Me, which has such a soft electro-dance vibe. Contrasted with her assertive and confident lyrics, the song radiates being carefree and letting go of those things or people that hold you down.
Lucky Strike - Troye Sivan
I first heard this track whilst watching Channel [V] a few days ago. The music video captured my attention right away with it's grainy, bubblegum sunset visuals. The song itself is driven by a punchy synth bass and just reminds me of summer.
I'm It - Kota Banks
A self-love anthem from fellow Sydney-sider Kota Banks, this track is catchy and uplifting. If you've been needing a little pick me up lately, give this track a listen. Plus, the track itself boasts a clean and slick production coupled with assertive vocals that are sure to be stuck in your head.
That's all for this week,
